I Have followed advice in these forums regarding changing ownership of files and folders using chown.
This doesn't appear to change ownership of the contents and subfolders.
What else do i need other than
"sudo chown user:group filename"
I am logged as admin
thanks
Also chown of a file appears to be instantaneous but changing owner of a folder need to re login to take effect (in the info box at least)
