Convert several JPEG images to one PDF file?

Does anyone know how to convert several JPEG images into one PDF file? I'm starting to archive the references I have for my thesis and want to reduce the paper trail. Most references are journal articles obtained from the web in electronic form (PDF files), but some are quite old and are scanned-in to JPEG format.

... there may be a simpler way of doing this, but i'd open an empty textedit document, drag all the jpegs into that, go to the print menu, select output options and save as .pdf ... :)

... or open in Preview, and do the print thing.

Also Photoshop has the ability to save as a PDFs (a Photoshop PDF version or if you have the full version of Acrobat, you can add a plug-in for an Acrobat PDF).

... yeah, but in preview you can't save several jpegs as one pdf ... :)
photoshop would be a good option, of course, if you have it ...

... you could do an XSL:FO document with a bunch of external-graphic element (if memory serves) and use something like FOP to generate you a PDF from that :)

Ahhh, I hadn't thought of that. I've become lazy having the full version of Acrobat 5.
