Default user template at remote location

Hey everyone!

I am administering 25 Leopard Macs here and i have already set up a default user template. Nice thing, works fine, great!

But one thing: That template is local on the machine i have created it. Is it possible to move it to a network share and tell all the other macs to grab it from there when a new user is logging in?

Can anyone give me a hint with this?
I am already doing the same thing with the 30 Vista machines i have here and its pretty comfortable.

Thanks!

What kind of network are you running? Is it a Windows Domain from server NT, 2003 or 2008 and are you running Active Directory? I ask because it sounds as if you have a Domain setup somehow.

Plus did you read the article Connecting a Macintosh running Leopard (10.5) to SBS 2003? Do you know about about the site that has been dedicated to putting Macs Into Windows Domains called MacWindows.com?

Lastly it is possible if the domain controls that NAS and the Mac uses the SMB protocol and boots from that NAS (keep their Home folder there).
