One of the reviews at Amazon.com says check out the TOC first, but "Look Inside!" is not enabled for this title, nor does the publisher's site offer anything.
 
Not all publishers agree to the "Look Inside Agreement" for their book.

I wouldn't buy this book.

Check out Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Tiger Ed (Missing Manual) by David Pogue.
Anyhting from O'Reilly will be much better.
