Diff in Intel Mac boot process

Hi,

I have a CoreDuo Mini and I just got a MBP. I want to know if this "symptom" is caused by something I did on the mini.

After I powered on the Mini, I would see boot messages on the screen. Things such as hardware probe, module loading...etc. On the MBP, it is just the same old grey Apple logo screen.

May be somehow I turned on verbose logging somewhere?

Don't I remember this exact message from an older thread? Either way: Sounds like yes, you somehow did turn on verbose logging. But does the mini fully boot to the Finder?
