Disc Drive Is Stuck

My disc drive all of a sudden has problems opening (I-Mac flat panel/DVD/CD-RW). It appears to be jammed.
Not sure what caused this.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
If I had to get a new drive for the computer where would I go to buy one?
I hope I don't have to send out my computer.

Is there a CD or DVD in the drive, possibly that could be sitting in there the wrong way, that could be making the drive stick?

There should be a tiny pin hole next to the drive. Push a paper clip in and see if the CD ejects.

Let us know if you get it out or not.

There is no CD stuck inside. There is a little lever type button in front. It does seem to open it, but it still does not open when I hit the eject button. It make an attempt to open but just won't unlock.

Still you should be able to open the CD-drive or its "sledge". Try Bobs hint and post if you were able to open the tray.
