Disk image not recognised

I have a Seagate Freeagent GoFlex 3TB Drive and I need to move folders from one external to this Seagate Drive, I can't however, to install software for the Seagate hard drive i need to open this disk image which my computer doesn't recognise. I am currently running on OS X 10.6.7.

Don't need to bother with the Seagate software. Just go to applications/utilities/disk utility and format it to Mac OS extended (journaled). The partitioning of the drive will be included as long as it is a new drive.
