downloded files continualy open in Excel...

Hi,

Hoping someone can please help me out. I have downloaded the limewire file a few times and everytime I open it to install it opens the installation file in excell. Thus, I cant install it.

Does anyone know how to stop it opening in excel so I can install the program? I right clicked and went to 'open with' but I have no idea what app. to use. Ive also right clicked on the actual file and it doesnt give me a file extension - its just called 'limewiresoftosx'

You could drag it on top of either one of these programs and see if it works: Disk Utility located in your Utilities folder, in your APplications folder (assuming it's a DMG), or Stuffit Expander
 
Download and install Stuffit Expander. I've only ever gotten this problem when i use a .bin type file, as it thinks it's an Excel Binary Format if Stuffit isn't there.

Also, don't use LimeWire for illegal downloading, of course.
