I have an interesting problem going on right now.
We have about 12 users on an Xserve running Leopard Server. Last week, users began having issues where the Finder would hang when they'd try to open a local volume on their Macs.
It appears that it's a Directory Services issue, since removing a Mac from the network resolves the issue. One user, who accessed the network from home over the company VPN over the weekend, reported that she ran into this issue when she joined the network.
Any ideas what might be causing this problem, and some possible solutions?
Thanks.
