Finder Windows not saving in OSX!?

I cannot get any of the finder windows to remaine in the last place I put them in, (Or my HD window anyways).....I've tried everything from Rebuilding the desktop to trashing the desktop preferences, also tried zpping the PRAM but nothing seemed to work. I'm thinking it has something to do with OS 10.1.4. Its really kind of anoying. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Or does anyone having any new ideas for me to try? I'd really appretiate it.

Right on, thanks alot. I didn't know there was a thread about this issue. Problem solved though, everything seems to be working fine now.

So you were having the same problems too eh PowerMac? It was really starting to piss me off, but atleast everything is working now.

hmmm.... perhaps its a good thing for a thread to be recycled every few weeks, to get new exposure?

Its not a bad idea I guess. But I personally didn't think of doing a search which I guess I should of.
