It seems like apple is going to incorporate firewire across the board in all products, so what next ?

Theres just too much to speculate. If apple does change to IBM's 970, then that's when xServes will upgrade, (and they're due for one soon) IMHO

 
I'm going to say................iMacs and iPods since the CD-RW iMac is almost completely out of stock and so is the 5GB iPod.:)
 
What I don't get is how people said the PowerMacs came unexpected and unrumoured... Even if macnews.net.tc HADN'T always said PowerMac updates would come in the month after MWSF, there were others, too...

the iMac upgrade has been predicted the same way, so it would seem logical that they appear sooner rather than later. They're also the only Macs without a 'new' badge in the Apple Store right now. :)

Yet, the surprising MWSF PowerBook additions make the PB 15" ripe for an upgrade.
