Flash plugin Slow in Safari ? Why?

Well basically the title explains my problem. Why is the flash plugin so slow in safari compared to firefox ????

Anyone ? I might write an email to Apple about this, although it could just be my mac ?

The Flash plugin is working just fine in Safari 1.2.5 on my G4/1.25 MDD and G3/600 iBook.

I have a 1.8GHz G5 and I can tell you that if you have a flash movie playing in Safari, and ANY window over top of it the flash will lag.

Other then that, it's ok for me.

I have always noticed this, even flash games play noticeably slower in the Safari than in Firefox, Camino, etc...quite annoying.

Phew. I'm kinda glad I don't like Flash. ... I guess you should provide feedback to both Apple and Macromedia. Although I guess they _do_ already know about it.

Yeah well like always whether it is flash or just simple gif animations open on a page with a window over the top it will lag alot. But compared to firefox flash in safari always is so slow. Its really annoying.
