Force Ethernet Speed on iMac 333

Is there any way in OSX to force the speed/duplex mode in an older iMac 333mhz machine? The standard terminal commands do not work, nor does Cocktail. It seems that the old iMac uses a BMAC ethernet chip set, wheras modern Macs use a GMAC chip set. The BMAC must need different commands, but I have not found anyone or any program that can issue them. I need to force the iMAC in 10mb/full.
Thanks for your help.

Keep in mind that this is a different command than the one you said you were trying before - it specifically is supposed to work on the systems using BMAC.

I tried that command as well, and it also came back as an unsupported command. I am hoping that Panther will have a rewritten Ethernet driver and this issue will go away.
