I have a G5 running Tiger 10.4.7 that progressively get slower to respond to user input either by mouse clicks or typing. When the user types something, the screen can take a few or many seconds before it will display the text. When they click the mouse it does the same before an app will launch or the screen will change.
To date I have run Disk Warrior (no errors), removed 2-256mb ram modules so that it was running with 4-1gb sticks. Ran disk repair. No change. The users that experience this are using Domain AD based accounts. Cannot find anything obvious in the logs either.
System Specs: G5 quad, 10.4.7, Xsan 1.4, Fiberchannel, Decklink Blackmagic card, Final Cut Studio.
