Gecko-engine should be part of MacOS X

Wouldn't it be a good idea to just implement the open source Gecko HTML-rendering engine in MacOS X. I think, like .pdf, MacOS X should be able to handle HTML (actually also things like XML) natively. It's used so commonly and it would probably boost browsing speeds in MacOS X. What do you think?

One of the primary engineers of Chimera was recently hired by Apple. Look for exciting things to happen in the months to come. A Cocoa-native web browser on top of the Gecko engine may soon be in the cards as the next iApp from Apple. As it is, Chimera is almost good enough to supplant IE as the default browser on OS X. Just a few rough edges and stability improvements and they would have a winner on their hands.
