Hi All,
I am trying to get my Mac (OS X 10.4, Powerbook G4 1.67Ghz) to talk to a Linux (Suse 10) machine that I have so they can exchange files with each other. I'm fairly sure I can just connect them together using an ethernet cable, but am not sure and can't find any documentation anywhere. Has anyone got any ideas about how to do this?
I am fairly proficient in the use of my Mac but don't know much about networking etc. due to OS X's usual 'magic auto configuring' of that side of things.
Any help will be greatly apprecieted . . .
Cheers, Bob
