I back up my Pismo HD to an external firewire drive BEFORE I reinstalled 10.2.8 - which, by the way, is working fine for me on my Pismo and my Quicksilver 933 - and am now wanting to import the mail and the iPhoto files to the current Pismo HD. I know this is likely an elementary question for many here, but any info would be appreciated.
ALSO:
1. I have ordered Panther, and am planning to install it on both Macs ... any advice as to the merits of upgrading/clean install/archive?
2. Can someone point me to sources of information concerning
a. the benefits of having 2 HDs in, this case, a Quicksilver, and keeping all video/music/photos on one drive and the OS on the other?
