I recently aquired a parts macbook I booted it up and seemed like it was working fine. I used my good hard from a good macbook to test it out. I got a kernal panic on it after awhile and then put the hard drive back in a good macbook when I ran disk utility it says to repair so I repaired. Then ran techtool and found 3 bad blocks. I also noticed that my audio was running faster than it was before I tried testing the other mac. I think the proccesor in the other macbook is bad and wondered if if could of corrupted the hard drive or given it the bad blocks it passed s.m.a.r.t a few days before that and if it did what are the chances of the hard drive if it's corrupted ruin something in a good running mac? I plan on zero'ing out the data and starting over but I'm afraid I messed stuff up, any thoughts?
