Hey!

I just tried to install Samba for accessing Win2k servers, without succes. I tried to restart, and I got this thing just after the nice Black Apple on grey background appears:

"sh-2.05..."

What's that, what can I do?

I guess it's a problem with the booting disk... but I'm not an expert. Are you?

Thanks a lot

Sam

That's the Jaguar prompt string. It basically means that you are in single-user mode. I don't know how you got there, but if you type in "exit" (minus the quotes) and then hit the return key, it should resume a normal boot-up.

Why did you have to install Samba? It's a base package on OS X. If you were updating to a recent version, that's understandable, but you shouldn't've had to.
