Hi, this is my first post to the forum :D

I have a big problem with my Flatpanel iMac G4 1GHz.
I tryed to change the Superdrive with no success. After reinstalling the originial Drive my iMac freezes after aprox. 10min of operation time
Of course I used thermalpaste to close the iMac.

While running the Hardwaretest it stops after a view seconds and switchs into Firmwaremode saying:

Invalid memory access at %SRR00:00d70000 %SRR1:d7000000
and sugests to type in mac-boot or shut-down

but the keybord does not work at this point

Please can someone tell me what to do ?

Thanks

Open it up again and take the memory out and reseat it and see if that helps.
