Hi, I am considering to create a keyboarf layout. I use spanish accented characters, and even though the 'opt+e' does work, I find it quite ackward to use.
I wanted to re-map the keyboard layout so that when I press the ' character followed by a bowel (a, e, i, o ,u), it would produce the same effect than pressing opt+e does (inserting the tilde and waiting in the same place for the vowel). Similarly I wanted to do the same for the 'ñ' by pressing the ~ followe by and n, versus pressing opt+n.
Is it possible to do this? This would be the best solution for me, rather than using the opt key or chaning my keyboard to spanish where the keys are mapped different than what it's displayed on the keyboard.
