How do i transfer my files from an ibook

i have an imac G3 currently running 10.1 and i have an ibook running 10.4. My imac doesn't have a fire wire port so the only way i know how to transfer files is using a fire wire but my imac doesn't have it. can i use like a usb to usb cable or a Ethernet cable????? and also i am not an administrator on my ibook so i can't download things but i do have super duper.

There are any number of ways to transfer files between two Macs. One very easy way is to log into one Mac from the other over your network. Then drag the files you want from the source to the destination.
