How to conect a G3 to internet via hub, pc is sharing internet ?

Hello,

i've been given a G3 (integrated display) 400 MHz, 400megs of ram, 10gigs hd, DvD player, there are 2 usb ports, 1 ethernet and os is 9.1

i've been using for year pc, it's the first time i'm using a mac, and i would like the G3 to connect to internet :

- there is 1 hub (100 mbps)
- the G3 is plugged to the hub
- the PC is plugged to the hub (Athlon 64 under win xp sp2)
- the PC has a usb modem, and is configured to welcome computers to connect to internet via itself

Yet i don't understand why i can't configure on the mac the workgroup name (such as mshome), and stuff, please help me

i don't know how i did it, but the G3 can connect to the net now, however, i don't know how can i see the mac from the pc and vice versa ..

Enable Windows Sharing on the Mac. It's under System Preferences and then Network.
