I've always had my home set in IE or Netsc as google.com.au but the built in google on Safari is set as google.com and I can't find a way of changing it to my country...?
This hint can help you. I'm afriad you'll have to dive into the Terminal to set it. Just remember after every new Safari install you'll have to go back and re-do the fix. I found it at MacOSXHints.com.
I've never dived into a mac terminal b4! How do you access vi text editor in the first place?
It's not that important so don't worry about feeling the need to reply.
Thx
You know you can set your google preferences (from google.com, not from a preference pane) to only search in certain languages, only in certain countries etc.

To access the vi editor you just type vi plus the file you want to edit, i.e. vi /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari (edit: that's just a single space between the vi and /Applications) BTW thanks for bringing this up. I'd been thinking for ages I wanted to change my search engine to google.com.au but I was to lazy to do a search for how to do it.
