iDisk won't eject

I have an iDisk account (the most worthless thing I've ever bought). The built-in backup app is set up to run every so often, so I mounted the disk recently to see if I could restore my Address Book (no, it didn't work).
Problem is, the icon won't eject from the desktop. I turned off the iSync feature, rebooted the Mac, tried all the known eject commands, nothing will get rid of it.

System is 10.4.11

Thanks. --Peter

Leave it in the Trash and reboot. Once the reboot happens use the "Secure Empty Trash". This should delete it.

Thanks for the suggestion. The icon won't go into the trash. When I press the mouse to move it to the trash, Trash into Eject, but it won't eject or go into the trash. Then a message pops up: " iDisk can't be ejected because it is in use." So the dilemma is: Why does it think it is in use. The preferences are set for no syncing.
