I am running Illustrator CS3 on a 2.1 GHz PowerPC G5 [OS X 10.5.8] and recently I have had problems with using the 'shift' key [when I want to transform an object and keep it proportionate] but it doesn't work. I can't find any Illustrator preferences to delete on my Mac. The same thing is happening in InDesign but it's the space key which doesn't work. The only thing I can think of is that I recently installed an Aiptek SlimTablet [drawing pad] and it seems to have happened after this was installed, but not immediately after... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
