Internet sharing with an Xtra ethernet board

Hi everybody,
I couldn't find any solution, if anyone could help me, here goes my situation:
I got ADSL, am i'm trying to share the internet between 2 mac's.
Powerbook 1.5 and a G4 700. Both under OS 10.3.7.
I bought an xtra ethernet board (cause was told me that would be possible to do so) and i'm using a crosscable too. Have no budget to buy a hub or rooter (not so cheap here in Brazil).

So, on the G4, got the ethernet Built in, connected to the internet running OK. The xtra ethernet board at G4 connected on the Built in board of the PowerBook, seeing eache other through the Network, perfectly.

On the G4, System Preferences>Sharing:
Firewall everything OFF. Internet Sharing ON (Services ON: "Personal File Sharing" and Personal Web Sharing"), here goes one daught: "Share your connection from:" Built in Ethernet or PCI Ethernet Slot 4 ? Well, i tried both and didn't worked. And, "To computers using:" Built in Ethernet ?

On the PowerBook, ok, Using DHCP.
But do i have to connect somehow through the "Internet Connect", or it just should be connected through the Network ?

Thanks for your time...

you need to share from your internet connection (internal) to the connection to your PB. If you can't pick the PCI card as the "Share to:" interface, swap them over, and use the PCI for the net and then go from the internal on your PM to the PB. You'll also get better speeds for local network access that way, as it will be Gigabit Ethernet between the two.
