invisible files

..how can I find invisible items included in a folder? How can I enable my system to show all files even if they are invisible?..

You can use the Terminal to view and manipulate hidden files (files that start with a "." character).

I believe TinkerTool allows you to view hidden files in the Finder.

..sorry but in the Terminal I don't know how to right in order to do my job!..
and also I cannot find triker.. where it is located?
