iphoto missing albums

A few weeks ago iphoto lost all it's albums. The pics are still in the same place but you can not access them through iphoto. Have tried to re install programme with no luck. Anyone had a similiar problem??????

I have not. Perhaps try the import procedure and see if it will re-import your pics and recreate your albums. Also, there should be a file that contains the iPhoto prefs and configs. Check to see if they are still there.
Perhaps renaming the iPhoto prefs to something.old will bring back the stuff that you ar missing. Sorry I can't check right now as my Mac is sitting at home whilst I try to make it through the day away at work.
