Hi - I hope this is in the correct forum
I recently purchased a BAFO USB to IrDA adapter that claims it is mac 8.6 to 10.x supported. I plugged it in and it shows up in IORegistry Explorer but is unavailble elsewhere (no cu.xxxxxx file in root dev directory). I heard a rumor that mac 10.3.5 supports IrDA without any additional drivers. I need to know if this is true or if the BAFO guys are smoking crack. And if it is true, where/ how to access the USB pipe.
I need to intercept a IrDA vision screening camera's output which is meant for a tiny HP IrDA printer.
Thanks in advance,
Pedski1
