I have an iMac 15" flatpanel. I will at some time get a new G5(6-12mo). I want to buy a hard drive. Right now I need a external hard drive. But I was wondering if I bought a serial ATA internal hardrive - is there a way to connect it to my iMac via firewire until I got my new G5 then I could just install into one of the G5's bays? Sort of getting the best of both worlds.

Yeah sure, you can get one of those external housings that are available. If you need pricing and info on where to find it, i'll get back to you. I know a lot of local stores in pakistan that do that but you wouldnt be interested in that
