Is there any way to turn off all font smoothing in MacOS 10.2 Jaguar yet?

My Mac is sort of an old one (G3 400), but still I couldn't resist Safari on Jaguar so I got Jaguar installed, but I used to be able to use TinkerTool to disable all font smoothing system wide (cause it's a resource hog and small fonts looks terrible with it on), but now I am unable to do this on Jaguar.

So I would like to ask is there any solution for that yet? Thanks~

I'm not sure if this will work, but I saw something like that in System Preferences under General. At the bottom of the General pane there should be something about font smoothing down there. Try that.
