Itunes And Quicktime Not Working

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but they still don't work. When I try to open either one they start using a lot of CPU power and then hang. I need iTunes to work as soon as possible.

I read one post from another guy that had the same problem and he was using ProTools. I'm also using ProTools but I've never had this problem before. It just started happening all of a sudden.

Which version of the Mac OS and respective Itunes and QT are you using it ?
would help a lot if you could provide these infos in order to give you a proper answer.

I would also like to suggest you use the search feature of this forum your problem might have occured previously and answers already there for you to have a look at.
