how do i import CD track names form songs when imported form a CD to my library. i only get track #'s not song names.

I believe it has something to do with the CD. I think some CDs support it, and others don't.

You also have to be connected to the internet for iTunes to contact the CD Database (CDDB). Are you connected when you put the CD in?

Also, try choosing "Get CD Track Names" from the Advanced menu while connected.

The great thing is that this feature still works, even AFTER you rip a whole CD with "untitled" songs..... simply select all of the tracks of that CD, and choose "Get CD Track Names." spiffy, eh?

Yes, and it also keeps the names of the CD and the tracks in the Finder as well. That is cool.

If only I used music CD's more..
