I'd be VERY surprised if this was a software thing!

What kind of keyboard? (ADB or USB)

What did you spill on it? (I presume you would not be cleaning it unless something got on it.)

How did you "clean" it?

Did you power down and unplug it before cleaning? (Both ADB and USB have boltage going through them, so you should do this.)

i cleaned it when the not responding of the keys became more frequent

i unpluged the thing.
its not an usb one so i guess adb.
i opened the case and lifted the keys
i cleaned it with ear pads and a dust gun
no liquids involed at all.
right now its working fine.
its only temporary.
if one key doesnt respond the other
are not responding as well.

so its the key 3 e d and c
on the other side there are = and ]
which are not working if one is not responding

the keys are not sticky!

Sometimes keyboards just die...

My mom's laptop was doing things where pressing certain keys would sometimes 'press' other keys in combination. Particularly bad was that pressing 'Q' would sporadically send 'command' as well, so programs had about a 10% chance of quitting on you every time you typed a q
