Linux server & Airport Extreme configuration

I am going to set up a Web/DNS/Mail/etc... server running on Linux.
I already have an Airport Extreme for other machines.

Which setup would you recomend?

Airport in front of Linux server NATing to desktops and server.
Airport behind linux server having Linux firewall serving Airport.

It depends what you're trying to achieve, and what firewalls you already have in place. If it were me, then I'd go with the first option, just so the Linux server was on the same subnet making it easier to do a few things like Samba and possibly Zerocnf. However, if you have PCs on the network and you don't have any other firewall, then the second option has the advantage.

Poet,

May be you can help me...
I have a small network at home.

1 linux gentoo websever
1 pc
1 iMac

When I try to surf to a website being hosted on the linuxsever, I end up on the router. In the PC case I soved this by editting the HOSTS files (under system32).
Any idea what I need to do in the case of a MAc ?

Thanxs.
