Locking my iBook

Folks,
Can anyone suggest a means for locking (ie activating the screensaver of) an iBook by simply closing the lid?

I can make it happen on the charger by using Sleeplock and not setting a activation timeout for the screensaver. But on battery power, I have the iBook set to spin down & sleep very quickly.
Consequently, Sleeplock, locks me up as soon as I turn my back.

Set the screensave to activate in a hot corner. Then throw the cursor into the corner before you close the lid.

Yeah, that or set the sleep time longer.
I have my iBook set to never sleep, if I want it to sleep, I close the lid. If I leave it open, I don't want it to sleep, because I am probably downloading something, or something like that.

Yes, I've settled on both solutions above. A hot corner and a long time-out. I was just hoping for something simpler. I'm still looking.
