Mac Os X 10.2.4 And Mail 2.0.2- Crashes When Checking For New Messages…

Hello,

I have all the current software updater updates from Apple. And now I can't check Mail for new messages- it just crashes.

I have 12 email accounts that I check, and three of these are the heavy-traffic accounts, the others don't get much mail.

How can I fix this? The only way I can get Mail to stay open is to take all accounts Offline, and to NOT check for new messages.

Try opening your Home directory, open Library, then open Preferences and trash the com.apple.mail.plist file. This may very well delete all of your account settings though, I'm not sure, so you may want to wait for other opinions.
