Hack # 7: Tweak Menu Extras, doesn't seem to be working on OS X Tiger:

There are a lot of "under the hood" changes from Panther to Tiger, and it's not surprising that "hacks" or modifications that worked under Panther don't work under Tiger... it could be as simple as a file that's been moved to a new default location to a complete incompatibility.
