MacBook Pro just loses power after a min

My Macbook Pro has recently started a strange behaviour. If I unplug the mains (and the battery is at 100% or in the 90s) after a min of usage it switches off (not in sleep mode nor has it shutdown properly).

So what is just switching this off or is there a hardware fault?

I checked the Power settings which is set at NORMAL
I checked inside the Energy Saver options which is all fine in the Adaptor and Battery settings.
I also checked underneath and have all the LEDs on the battery.


Any ideas?

The plain MacBooks have a problem known as the RSD issue. (Random ShutDown.) The MacBooks would just randomly power off. Apple has been replacing the logic boards to fix this problem. I don't know if your issue is the same thing, but I wold definitely contact Apple Care, or take your MacBook Pro to the Apple Store.
