Mail.app and Exchange problem on Snow Leopard

Hi,

I'm trying to setup our exchange server with Mail.app. I have full access to the server when I use Safari, but it doesn't work using the client.

The server it seems runs "Microsoft Exchange Server 2003", and with the Safari I get into "Outlook Web Access". Isn't it enough for the mail client to work? I use the same server address (path, and port).

Mail.app will not work natively with Exchange like Outlook does. You must enable IMAP on the Exchange server to have Mail.app communicate with it -- or upgrade to Exchange 2007.

When you access Exchange with Safari, you're accessing "Outlook Web Access." Mail.app does not use OWA (Outlook Web Access) to communicate with the Exchange server, so pointing Mail.app to the same URL that you use in Safari will lead nowhere.
