Mac OSX 10.3.9 iMacG5
Please HELP.
Why can't those who receive attachments or forwarded mail from me open these items?
Procedure:
1. Forwarded message. She was unable to open the message.
Notice says:
Action failed. Mail action aborted. Too many body parts.
a. Copied selected parts to an e-mail and sent. Still unable to open it.
2. Sent 2-page letter from my files
File Attach File 2-page letter Choose File
Icon shows on e-mail
SEND
Received by recipient. She cannot open it and receives notice that:
"This file attachment does not have a program assoc with it for performing this action."
3. Sent 2 pg letter and recipient got notice from AOL that FILE WAS TOO LARGE and she was unable to open it.
4. Sent 1 paragraph on 1 page. Still unable to open it.
Under FILES, I checked SEND WINDOWS FRIENDLY ATTACHMENTS thinking that that was the problem, resent 1 paragraph attachment, but the recipient still cannot open it.
If you please, what is the problem here? This is a fairly new computer
and attachments are simple procedures, I should think. Thank you for your help.
