I am seeing performance problems with Mail. Two things I notice:
1.) When I try to print a message, there is a 1 min delay before the print dialog comes up.
2.) Periodically when I do things in mail (like select the next message, or move messages between mailboxes) I see the CPU chart in Activity Monitor shoot up (CPU usage) all consumed by the MAIL application. The computer becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds until this drops back down. Then everything is fine again.
Not sure when it started, but I have restarted mail, rebooted, etc... No help.
Any thoughts? Maybe I need to rebuild the Envelopes, but I can't understand why I don't see more serious or frequent problems if this is the case. For instance, if I search for a keyword, it responds pretty quickly.
