Dear sir or madam,
I had seen a problem with my MGE UPS eclipse 1200 USB.
The problem is that the charging percentage does not change as the time passes as the batteries are charging.
I connected the UPS at a PC and it updates fine.
Also when I restart the mac system the percentage is also updated.
Is there a way I can update the percentage automatically? Without having to restart??
Also there is times (when I have power drops in volts - We can see the light blob to fade) the USB is lost and the UPS does not charge.
In this case the system console informs me with the following message:
Oct 22 14:21:13 MacPro kernel[0]: USBF: 5297.939 AppleUSBUHCI[0x361b000]::Found a transaction which hasn't moved in 5 seconds on bus 61, timing out!
I can fix that by unplugging the UPS from its cord, and turn on the Mac. The UPS turns on it caution light and then it shuts down. I turn it off and the on again and then the UPS starts to charge and the USB works again.
I do not know if it is a hardware or software problem and that is and the reason I asking here in case I have to take it to service, as it is new (I have it for 2 weeks)
