Mozilla doesn't run under X.2 on a box w/o Classic

I have X.2 installe don my desktop and laptop. the laptop I opted to not install Classic, and not Mozilla will not start up.

does this make sense? can it be tied to classic?

i dont have classic and mozilla works fine in 10.2

i must have had some funky fubar profile or something. i nukes all the exiting profiles that i copied from my old install and averthing worked fie...
