just bought a powerbook with airport extreme card. is there an easy way to connect wirelessly (through the airportcard) to my stereo? a stereoreceiver of some sort?
 
Not really. There are alot of cheap solutions that work with PC's($100-200), but not with Macs. They are cheap because all the processing of data is done on the PC side, and it streams uncompressed audio to the device to play. The Roku boxes do all of the decompression in hardware so there is no added load on the device storing the files.
