Insert something here...
Maybe someone can shed some light on my mailserver issue. I'm setting up a FirstClass mail server, I've determined the MX record that pionts to my DNS and I've inserted the MX record with my domain host.

For the life of me I can't seem to figure out why messages sent to the specified domain won't forward to my mail server? I'm connected via a cable modem with 3 machines on my network.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

My first question is are you sure that your firewall is correctly forwarding the smtp port to your box. From the outside you can telnet to port 25 using telnet your.host.com 25 if that lets you connect then you know it is a MX record issue. If not then it is a server/firewall/routing issue.
