I am using en0 for LAN 10.0.0.0/8, and USB ethernet for 205.221.226.0/24 public network on an Intel iMac running Snow Leopard Server.
I have set up NAT and DHCP to provide private IPs to guests on my network. I am using many public IPs for my staff and servers.
I can ping from the server to my 10.0.0.0/8 devices, and 205.221.226.0/24 devices, including the gateway/router address 205.221.226.254 on my Layer 3 switch which provides Internet access for a number of VLANs.
When I try to ping beyond my public IP's, for example www.yahoo.com, I get a "no route to host" response.
Can you guess what needs to be done to allow me to get beyong my public IPs?
Thank you for any ideas that you can provide!
