Need Help!!

My cousin sent me a photo cd of old family photos. She said I should just insert the disk & they would pop up, but they don't. I am new to Apple, & get easily confused... I am using a MacBook Pro. Can anyone help me??? Thank you
By the way, is there any ways to make photos look more attractive?

CD likely made at a drug store & meant for PC's. Open the CD and look thru the various folders; you'll find the pics.

Photo enhancements can be made by many apps. Paid ones include Photoshop & Pixelmator. Free ones include iPhoto & Picasa. (iPhoto may be paid depending upon what came with your Mac)

Photoshop is a little bit difficult. Picasa is easy for me.
