NetGear and MacBook Pro 15" 10.6.6 i7

I know, I know, I've seen tons of this questions pop up from the net and I searched through them all...But I come with the same issue.

I used to have a Belkin and that worked fine with my computers (both PC and Mac). Then that got old and switched to NetGear WNDR 3400. I already spoke with NetGear customer's service when I had trouble in the beginning and I thought my issue is resolved. All the computers (PC and Macs) work fine. Even my ancient ibook G4 had no problem working the wireless...

It's my MacBook Pro 15", i7 that is having trouble connecting and I'm not sure as to why. It picks up the signal from NetGear and then it drops suddenly. I restarted the modem/router, toyed with the network config so it has an IP address, changed channel and changed it from WEP to WPA. Nothing works.

I still cannot connect wirelessly (though irony it goes full bar when I am connect the ethernet...) and I rather wanna run this question through you guys before I call Netgear aka India again.

Can anyone help me? Thank you
